Более того, низкие уровни витамина D, характерные для пациентов с ХОККом, могут повышать риск и тяжесть течения COVID-19. Это объясняется тем, что витамин D способствует увеличению уровня противовоспалительных цитокинов и снижает репликацию вирусов, что, в свою очередь, может снизить провоспалительные цитокины, способствующие повреждению легких. Несмотря на отсутствие доказательств, демонстрирующих повышенную восприимчивость к COVID-19, лекарства, используемые в терапии ХОЗК, увеличивают риск инфекций дыхательных путей в разной степени. Однако теоретически некоторые иммуносупрессивные препараты могут иметь положительные эффекты, учитывая, что причиной смерти при COVID-19 является цитокиновый шторм, приводящий к острой дыхательной недостаточности.

Only such an approach to the treatment of patients with hypertension can give a successful result. In this regard, there is no decrease in the frequency of complications of this disease in Ukraine.
