On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared the novel severe respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) a pandemic. The number of cases worldwide is constantly growing, the infection is a serious threat to health, especially in the case of old age, immunodeficiency and the presence of concomitant diseases. There are now a growing number of reports and preliminary observations indicating that the COVID-19 virus can also infect the skin. Skin lesions ranging from "covid fingers" to hives can be potential signs of coronavirus. The flow of information about the skin manifestations of coronavirus infection prompts the development of a classification of these lesions.
Mikhail Yurchuk is from the Khmelnytsky region. After school, the man worked at a glass factory and a furniture factory. Responding to such epidemic challenges is very difficult both organizationally and financially. The result is evaluated over time with well-organized epidemiological surveillance. According to the approved polio outbreak response plan, which arose in early October 2021, it was only possible to start the 1st round of the campaign on February 1, 2022. It was supposed to last 3 weeks and was aimed at vaccinating 140,000 children from 6 months of age with IPV. up to 6 years who missed vaccination according to the Calendar. Almost by the end of the 3rd week of the 1st round, as of February 18, 2022, only 28% of the planned number of children were vaccinated. Therefore, we decided to extend the 1st round for an additional 2 weeks, which again was not performed due to the outbreak of war. Thus, there was no actual response to polio outbreaks.
Considering that a similar picture took place in previous years, in Ukraine there was an accumulation of a layer susceptible to poliomyelitis among the child population. In addition, since April 2016, the oral (live) polio vaccine (OPV), which is used in Ukraine, since the 3rd vaccination, does not contain type 2 poliovirus (two-component OPV, which is now used worldwide, contains only polioviruses). ). type ov1 and 3). This also contributes to a decrease in both individual and population immunity to type 2 poliovirus. The result was an outbreak of poliomyelitis caused by vaccine-derived type 2 poliovirus (a vaccine-derived virus that acquired neurovirulent properties during circulation in a low immune population.). There was no adequate response to this outbreak, namely additional vaccination rounds for children under 6 years of age to stop the circulation of the vaccine-related virus. In January 2022, a new outbreak emerged.
