Primary arterial hypertension (AH) or essential hypertension (AH) remains one of the most common cardiovascular diseases. Annually in the world hypertension is the cause of death of more than 10 million people. In Ukraine, more than 12.6 million people are registered with this disease, or more than 35% of the population. But, among people with high blood pressure (BP), only 52% of patients know about the presence of the disease, less than a third of them are treated, and no more than 15% of patients are effectively treated.
It is the transition to the use of IPV in Ukraine for all doses of the Immunization Schedule that should be the next task for vaccination. For this, several mechanisms can be used, including humanitarian assistance, the conclusion of planned direct contracts with vaccine manufacturers based on the needs of the required composition of vaccines according to the Calendar, in particular, taking into account the existence of modern combined vaccines with IPV, which can also be used at an older age. In the absence of combination vaccines with IPV, IPV can be used as a single vaccine.
According to him, now there are 5.5 thousand patients in hospitals who have been diagnosed with coronavirus disease. Of these, 2,300 are on beds with oxygen therapy, and most of them receive it. To prevent logistical problems, at the end of last year, state funding was allocated through several mechanisms: one in the form of centralized purchases, one in the form of subventions provided to the regions in order to purchase autonomous sources of oxygen supply. On September 15, the Ministry of Health sent 124,608 packages of the Paxclovid drug for coronavirus disease to the regions. The medicine is prescribed primarily to patients at risk to prevent the complex course of coronavirus disease.
