Over the past week, 24,000 new cases were recorded, the week before that there were 16,000, that is, there is a gradual increase. Responding to such epidemic challenges is very difficult both organizationally and financially. The result is evaluated over time with well-organized epidemiological surveillance. According to the approved polio outbreak response plan, which arose in early October 2021, it was only possible to start the 1st round of the campaign on February 1, 2022. It was supposed to last 3 weeks and was aimed at vaccinating 140,000 children from 6 months of age with IPV. up to 6 years who missed vaccination according to the Calendar. Almost by the end of the 3rd week of the 1st round, as of February 18, 2022, only 28% of the planned number of children were vaccinated.
