Всемирная организация здравоохранения 11 марта 2020 г. объявила эпидемию нового тяжелого респираторного коронавирусного синдрома (SARS-CoV-2) пандемией. Количество заболевших во всем мире постоянно растет, инфекция представляет собой серьезную угрозу здоровью, особенно в случае пожилого возраста, иммунодефицитного состояния и наличия сопутствующих заболеваний. В настоящее время растет количество сообщений и результатов предварительных наблюдений, указывающих, что вирус COVID-19 может также поражать кожу. Поражения кожи, начиная от «ковидных пальцев» до крапивницы, могут являться потенциальными признаками коронавируса.
В настоящее время риск усиления циркуляции вакцинородственных полиовирусов и связанных с ними вспышек при низком уровне охвата прививками на фоне применения оральной вакцины осложняется еще и военными действиями в стране, приводящими к разрушению инфраструктур городов и населенных пунктов, интенсивной миграции и эвакуации населения. Украины, так и в регионы, где отсутствуют активные боевые действия (Черновицкая, Закарпатская, Львовская, Волынская обл.). Именно в этих областях отмечались самые низкие уровни вакцинации против полиомиелита в 2021 году.

There is limited evidence that they increase the risk of respiratory infections. The risks and benefits should be considered, but most patients can continue on a stable dose. In patients in stable remission, elderly patients and in the presence of concomitant pathology, it is recommended to stop taking thiopurine. During a pandemic, it is recommended to avoid starting thiopurine or increasing the dose, which will allow patients to avoid potential side effects. If the patient is in contact with a COVID-19 person, temporary withdrawal of thiopurine for 2 weeks should be considered. If a patient tests positive for SARS-CoV-2 and/or develops COVID-19, temporary discontinuation of thiopurine may be recommended until the patient clears the infection.
According to him, now there are 5.5 thousand patients in hospitals who have been diagnosed with coronavirus disease. Of these, 2,300 are on beds with oxygen therapy, and most of them receive it. To prevent logistical problems, at the end of last year, state funding was allocated through several mechanisms: one in the form of centralized purchases, one in the form of subventions provided to the regions in order to purchase autonomous sources of oxygen supply. On September 15, the Ministry of Health sent 124,608 packages of the Paxclovid drug for coronavirus disease to the regions. The medicine is prescribed primarily to patients at risk to prevent the complex course of coronavirus disease.
